Practical Classics Car and Restoration Show 2019 – Gallery
The Practical Classics Car and Restoration Show is a great show held in March every year at the NEC. While not the biggest show on the calendar, it presents a focus on the preservation of older cars, with live work going on on most stands on a really diverse range of cars ranging from cars waiting to begin restoration right up to those just freshly finished, and a great mix inbetween.
This year the club had been given space for a huge 6 car stand right next to the live stage.
As mentioned above, contrary to many shows working on a car live is actively encouraged – and on our stand we had Sam Taylor’s TA22 Celica being worked on over the weekend, including removing the world’s most stubborn driver’s side sill.
Other cars on the stand included some Toyota greats from over the years:
There were Toyotas dotted around the rest of the show too, including club member Sammie-Jo Webster’s lovely original Starlet GT Turbo over on the pride of ownership stand.
A full show gallery can be found below – apologies if your internet takes a little while to load this, it is definitely worth the wait.
As always, thanks go out to the club members for showing their cars on the stand and keeping it running over the weekend, and to all those that came over to speak to us and ask about the cars.
